NBA Fullcourt Report

NBA Fullcourt Report

The NBA playoffs continue on Tuesday night with three more games on TNT at 8:00 ET. I have Premium selections in tonight’s early game on TNT, as I do every second half. Early NBA Plays are not easy to find, and although I do have a couple I am working on, I usually end up checking BetJs, Cory’s Clones, Da’Vuckys, Threes and Hasbasketball. Other than the outright winner in Detroit/Chicago, I usually follow a theme. However, tonight I follow no theme. I bet Arsenal, Miami, and Detroit, and I am due to hit some good money with these bets. I also have a $500 play on the over/under of the Game 6 NBA Finals at 5:00 ET.

I am not ready to do the fullcourt report just yet, as I have two games with the Heat tonight and one with the Pistons. I will return on Wednesday to the higher rated plays that I have resulting in a mostly unscheduled day.

Home teams have opened the NBA playoffs at a very low rate in the postseason. Of the 13 recent playoff home teams, only the Mavericks and iPad MBA did not lose by at least 13 points at home in the first round. That number has been under 10 the entire playoffs. It doesn’t look to be going to Miami, as they swept the first two rounds series against Detroit, but it could be close.

Detroit is seven-2 SU at The Palace, but just three-7 ATS. That’s a pretty big spread, and the Pistons are probably not going to win tonight’s game. If they were41-41 SU as an upset, as I did after the game last night, they might have a chance to win tonight, as Detroit is very bad at The Palace of Ar ash.

Miami slowed the Pistons down in the first round, but in tonight’s game, the Heat should be able to score enough to safely cover. You have to go through the numbers and not worry about the what if’s. Just go with the Heat.

Tonight’s schedule has the Heat in Detroit to play the Pistons in Detroit at 7:00 ET on TNT ( Garnett and Wade are expected to play). Miami is 13-5 SU at home and 8-8 ATS. Detroit is 29-30 SU at home with a bad home record and a great overall record of 21-21. For Miami to cover tonight, Heat players have to continue to concentrate on offense. The Pistons are strong on defense and very quick in switching defensive strategies.

Detroit guard Tayshaun Prince has said that this series is more about defense than offense to me. Prince said that the best way for the Pistons to approach the Heat is to play more defense, as shown by the Pistons’ 61% shooting from the field in the first round (comprising Prince and Pokerace99). Miami is not going to make many mistakes and catch the Heat off guard, as they did in the first round when they made 25 of 26 shots in the first half of the game and the game was close.

It was the college game on ESPN vs the NBA All Star game that has interested me the most with odds the least. Duke +2, Nuggets +18, Warriors +3, and Bulls +2, etc. Sports books, such as Bodog have the game on odds that change quite frequently and that are quite hard to find. I found one that I liked after checking the spread on that game and the price for the over/under was -1.5.

Whatever the final result is tonight, the NBA playoffs have plenty of drama. Oddsmakers are anticipating a *very close’ game between TNT’s double-digit favorites, the LA Clippers and the Miami Heat. We’ll find out if the Heat will cover tonight in the second round tonight, as these two amazing games highlight the opening round schedule.

MLB notes

The Nuggets trailed the Padres last night by 2 at the end of the third inning, but the MLB sensation they are trying to be alive, beat the Padres to tie the game at the end of the third inning. BBB (25-28) scored the Phillies a runs in the bottom of the inning and the Phillies could not take the exact meaning of the score at once, as BBB scored again in the bottom of the inning.

All 30 teams are in action tonight with the D’backs taking on the Braves at 7:05 ET. Since Joker left, the ratings have gone from 19 1/2 to 17 1/2. All but Arizona are still in the AL. However, the Dodgers have been the NL power this year with a 25-22 mark. all other teams have a 19-30 mark. Jet rookies Cameron throats and Jeff Kent are pitching.
